Classical, Freelance, and Cover Artist based in SoCal

Luchi Jiang is a musician and creator who is passionate about sharing God’s gift of music with the world.

Luchi graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the Northwestern University Bienen School of Music in 2022. She studied violin under the tutelage of Gerardo Ribeiro. In Fall 2024, Luchi began her Master of Music in Violin Performance studying under Samuel Fischer at the University of Redlands.

Luchi is an award-winning violinist, winning the first prize in the University of Redland’s Concerto Competition and President’s Honor Recital award in 2025. She made her solo debut performing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra in May 2026. At the University of Redlands, Luchi served as the concertmaster of the school’s Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra as a Qualified Student Musician. She is also a member of the Violin I section of the South Orange County Orchestra. Luchi has enjoyed performing at renowned venues around the world including the Sydney Opera House in Australia, multiple famous concert venues in China, and the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Center of the Arts in Orange County.

Outside of classical performance, Luchi works as a freelance musician around Southern California, performing for weddings, musicals, recording sessions, and more. She also creates content for her YouTube channel “LuJi Music” where she arranges and performs covers of her favorite songs online.

When not performing on her instrument, Luchi avidly works in the music marketing and education fields. Luchi has worked part-time as a Violin Tutor at Home School Coaches and in multiple marketing capacities for the Irvine Music Festival.

Outside of music, Luchi enjoys going to K-pop concerts, watching shows, and playing video games.
